About the event

Collins has opened a new 50,000 sq ft., Engineering & Development Test Center (EDTC) in Bengaluru, India in May 2025 with a goal of long-term strategic value addition in terms of cost & proximity. Establishing this facility was a key milestone aligned with a vision to reduce dependency on external labs by in-sourcing and to optimize utilization of Collins lab infrastructure through managed test service workflow.

This cutting-edge facility is set to boost Collins testing processes, enhance product development efficiency, and add further value to the SBUs. By integrating advanced testing capabilities closer to our engineering and manufacturing hubs, we are further elevating the strategic importance of the GETCs.
